Unlike most people, I no longer download more music than I could ever listen to in a lifetime illegally with you tube converters and all that bollocks.. I buy music. Ordered these two on Friday, Mr Lager ft. Alys B - Tell Me & remixes EP and Breakage - Foundation LP. Basically I spent 25 quid for 8 tracks (3 actually) but its fully worth it. The best thing about buying vinyl records is when your spending bare money, on average about £6 per track, you spend a lot more time shopping around and finding music you absolutely love (no homo). I've got a small collection of dubstep now, and pretty much every track gives me goosebumps every time I drop them. I suppose buying records makes you appreciate the music a lot more, It feels good as well knowing that you are actually supporting the artists making the tunes...
Which sort of brings me to some next shit to chat shit about.
After wasting two years of my life doing some dead mechanics course, I've applied for a Music Tech course. So I'm gonna be spending another two years in college. Anyway, had some taster day sort of thing on Thursday which was pretty good. Shit thing was in the first hour I got to fuck about on a Mac and make my own track. I thought at the time, dutty, this is my kinda shit. But then they told us we needed headphones, and me like a dick, didn't bring any. I couldn't find my normal headphones that morning and thought fuck it, long. One of the teachers was like "did you not get told you needed them?" but obviously if I had been told I would have looked harder that morning or brought another pair in. So whilst everyone else cracked on with their tracks, I jus sat there like a mong clicking on random shit. Was good after that though so liveee.
Anyway, consider this my first proper post, might be more to come in the near future. And speaking of post, Otyt the postman for making my day with the delivery. Big Ups!
Oh yeah, went Fletcher Moss park yesterday. There's one fucked up tree in the gardens bit.
